What is health, anyway?

Excellent health is far more than just the absence of illness or disease.

Among other things, health is…

  • Balance
  • Strength
  • Energy
  • Enthusiasm
  • Being confident in your abilities
  • Being effective in what you do
  • Making good choices
  • Knowing you are loved
  • Having plenty of yourself to give away
  • The ability to adequately and easily protect oneself
  • Feeling safe
  • Being in touch with your spiritual side
  • Contentment
  • Flexibility and the ability to change and adapt
